I'm doing some experiment to change the default leaves block with the new block that makes the leaves looks more realistic. I've made 3 - 4 models and decided which model that I will use to make the leaves looks realistic, I hope this model Is good enough for you.
let me introduce you... this is, better leaves addon...
Maybe some of you think this addon will cause your gameplay too laggy, not really. The size of the default leaves block is around 1kb, but this new block is just 2kb. which means you can use this addon even you are still using a low-end device...
Honestly, this addon is useful if you are focusing on creative mode gameplay. and useless if you are playing survival, why I said useless?
This is a new addon, still needs more improvements in the future.
- Because the leaves block is a custom block, it means the Beehive block will not spawn naturally on trees.
- And Color Map function Still not supported means the leaves block color will not be changed in a specific biome.
I'm not making the leaves block waving in this version because it's not supported in Windows 10 version. And I will make the blocks waving in the mobile version on the next update.

You need to Enable / Activate Experiments Options in Map & Game Settings
Installation:
- Once you did download the mcpack, click or tap download notification.
or, open your file manager, find the mcpack file then open it.
- The Minecraft logo will appear when you tap or open the mcpack file.
- you will be directed to Minecraft then wait for a couple seconds till the mcpack is installed.
- when you are done, create a new world and activate the "Experimental Gameplay" option and you have done.
